Why the title “Confessions of a lifter”?

To put it simply, I couldn’t think of a fitness blog name that hadn’t already been taken. I started thinking of websites and blogs I frequent. A few of them start with “Confessions of…….” then whatever it is they do. I thought “Why not make this a journal type blog for myself to help me progress and see how far I’ve come with my fitness goals”. It would serve as sort of a diary. Confessions if you will. Confessions of the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to weight loss and appetite control…..passing up on a binge of pizza….yum….we totally love pizza in our house. I’ve moved on to thin crust, but that’s another post. I want my readers to understand that health is a lifestyle. Choosing to be better than we are is a choice. Pushing that western diet aside and getting back to more simpler, cleaner eating is what it’s all about, and you can do it. It won’t be easy, and trust me….I’ve caved a few times, but I promise that the results you get if you are consistent with be so worth it.
So what are you waiting for? Get started on a healthier, new, sexier looking you TODAY! Your body will thank you for it in so many ways….I couldn’t possibly list them all here, but you’re future will be bright. Let’s get the weight off together and add some serious muscle while were at it!!
